I left Glasgow in 1976, came to Lochgilphead to work in Argyll and Bute Council in June 1976 with my husband and two sons.   I was the secretary in Housing and Technical Services until 1997.  

 

After 20 years of service I retired and began working voluntary doing Meals on Wheels and then in October 1997 I started as a volunteer for the MS Centre.  Initially a oxygen therapy operator I then became involved with doing admin work with the Manager at that time. 

 

In 2000 I became employed as an admin assistant and I still am the operator of many oxygen sessions helping volunteers become trained.  

 

I am a natural entertainer and still enjoy keeping everyone’s spirits up in the Centre.
