Every Friday we give out soup to our elderly neighbours or anyone who may benefit from a cup. If you are local and know someone who may like some please let us know or call in before 5pm to collect a mug.

We are now official members of the sunflower lanyard scheme and hold a stock of the sunflower products.

9th March 2020

We are working with a group of students from Argyll College Health Sector module and members of our Long Term Conditions peer support group (Brain Fog Friends, Argyll) towards launching the Sunflower Campaign Hidden Disabilities campaign.

This campaign will be to raise awareness of the impact of Hidden Disabilities in our community.

We have purchased @sunflwrlanyards to give out to members of our community living with the invisible symptoms of long term conditions.

5th February 2020

Claire, (our Outreach Worker) restarted the Kintyre Parkinson's Group.

The first meeting on the 5th February was a great success with 9 local people receiving advice from Jenny Wilmott. Parkinson's UK local advisor.  

20th February 2020

MS Society, Scotland organised an event at the Scottish Parliament to ask the Scottish Government to scrap the 20 metres PIP rule.

Our Centre Manager Karen McCurry travelled to Edinburgh to support the MS Society Scotland with this campaign.
